Touching on how to build your self-confidence, being a female leader in a male-dominated sphere, being a female entrepreneur, and the fact you don't need a computer science degree to be succesful within the tech industry!

Lucy Heskins - Director of Oh Blimey
Lucy is an early-stage startup marketer who works with founders to validate, create and build b2b tech products.
Previous to creating Oh Blimey, she was the marketing lead at Careercake, a video learning content provider that supported 10 million learners and was acquired last year by the world's largest elearning provider.
Now, she works with startups both in the UK and the US, helping them to navigate the highs and lows of building out their marketing teams and creating subscription products.
Her work has been featured in TechCrunch, Sifted, Business of Software, Barclays Eagle Labs, and Growth Mentor.
Lucy Bulley - Consultant - Structuring Organisations for Fast Growth
Lucy works with startups and scale ups to structure their organisations for fast, sustainable growth. Lucy has extensive experience working with dozens of companies across multiple sectors, from creatives to regulated entities, and is able to share her wealth of knowledge in a consultant capacity, to benefit founders and CEOs who are disruptive in their field.
Lucy works on specific growth related projects, like funding maximisation, taking up the role of interim COO to support companies to navigate the challenges of scaling, where there isn’t yet a need for a business need for the full time role.
Mari Stevens - Chief Marketing Officer at Ogi
Mari has over 15 years experience of developing and delivering award-winning brand, marketing and communications activity.
Currently CMO for Wales’s leading homegrown telecomms company, Ogi, Mari was previously responsible for transforming the Wales nation brand - the brand that’s used to promote Wales as a destination for visitors, inward investors and students. As Director of Marketing for Welsh Government she was responsible for all Visit Wales, Trade and Invest and Business Wales campaigns and oversaw marketing around the UEFA Champions League Final in Cardiff and the NATO Wales Summit.
She has also been Head of Marketing for Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water and BBC Cymru Wales.
She’s worked in Tech, the Creative Industries, Media, Tourism, all with a big Welsh theme - and specialises in building brand engagement with heart and purpose.
Louise Harris - Co-Founder and CEO of Tramshed Tech
We support tech, digital and creative businesses through our spaces, business support and skills programmes.
With a background in education, I’m passionate about skills development and accelerating business growth across Wales and beyond. We do this through our range of strategic partners across the UK and Europe to include Google for Startups, Microsoft, Barclays Eagle Labs and SQY.
As well as being a member of the Welsh Government International Strategy Board and UK Tech Cluster Group, I also report to the UK Digital Economy Advisory Board, specialising in business growth strategies.
