In recognition of Men's Mental Health Awareness Month, we're proud to partner with Barclays Eagle Labs and Case UK to host a powerful discussion on men's mental health, led by Dai Rees. This event will raise awareness and break the stigma surrounding this important topic.
Panel Discussion: Hear from key advocates for men’s mental health, including:
Alix Popham: Former Wales Rugby Union player with 33 caps, diagnosed with early-onset dementia from concussions during his career. Alix founded Head for Change, a charity focused on brain health in sport.
Andrew Jenkins: A Welshman with a remarkable recovery story after being "pronounced dead" following a life-threatening accident. Andrew recently completed The Big Trek to raise £100,000 for Headway, a charity supporting brain injury recovery.
Ryan Bevington: Ex-Wales and Ospreys rugby player, who transitioned from rugby to entrepreneurship, opening a butchery after his rugby career ended due to injury.
Dai Rees: An experienced leader in wellbeing and coaching, with a passion for men's health. Dai also hosts Chambers Wales Men's Health Network Events.
Q&A Sessions: Engage directly with the panelists to ask questions and share experiences.
Networking: Connect with like-minded individuals and advocates for men’s mental health.
This event is open to anyone interested in supporting men’s mental health. Whether you're directly affected, a supporter, or simply looking to learn more and get involved, join us as we work to raise awareness and break the stigma around men’s mental health.
