Who is this event for?

Anyone who finds themselves in a leadership or management position in Tech. Come meet like minded people who will understand the challenges you face and listen to advice on how to overcome them.

This event and following meetups are hybrid, hosted in Cardiff for those who want to join in person and streamed online for those who prefer to join from home.

Speaker Bios

Duena Blomstrom is the co-founder, CPO, and CEO of People Not Tech and the author of People Before Tech, a book about the importance of psychological safety and teamwork in the digital age. She’s also a speaker and a writer, publishing weekly LinkedIn newsletters on “Chasing Psychological Safety” and “The Future Is Agile” and a Forbes contributor. She’s the creator of the Emotional Banking™ and Human Debt™ concepts and authored a book titled Emotional Banking about fixing culture in the FinTech world and listening to customers’ feelings about money.

Alex Le Peltier has been working as a Software Engineer for ten years, working in both the public and the private sectors. He has been part of the Delio team for three years, beginning his journey in the DevOps team developing Delio's continuous deployment strategy and cloud architecture, before moving on to his current Head of Engineering Role. In previous jobs, he has worked as and led both frontend and API development teams. Alex is used to working in regulated environments; for example, his last role was in the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency building applications for HGV enforcement, as well as working within global banking regulations at Delio. During his spare time, Alex has co-founded a social group based in South Wales with over 500 members, and runs regular events to develop a local community.
