We are excited to announce the next VR Wales Meetup in partnership with Tramshed Tech.
At this event we dive into what universities are looking for in VR services and how VR companies are being selected to fit the needs of institutions from an educational perspective, plus procurement processes for companies. This will then be followed by a discussion on how VR is being used in medical schools and helping medical educational training for future doctors and nurses. We hear about the Wales Virtual Hospital, a centralised device agnostic platform to build and distribute medical learning materials for all medical professionals in VR training.
Owen Crawford: Digital Learning Manager at Cardiff University – What Universities are looking for with VR 🔊
Dr Huw Lloyd Williams: Senior Clinical Lecturer in Emergency Medicine at Cardiff University and consultant at Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board – The Wales Virtual Hospital and how it is helping medical training. 🔊
We are also very excited to announce that the brand-new Meta Quest Pro will be at the event, generously supplied by Virtus Tech for those attending to try out! 🥽🤯
Anyone working or interested in virtual reality + anyone keen to use a VR headset.
