Registration is now open for the next round of Skills for Swansea fully-funded hybrid courses, set to run throughout January and February 2025. Delivered by Tramshed Tech and funded by the UK Government, this initiative continues its mission to enhance digital skills and industry readiness across the region through practical, hands-on training.
The programme is designed to meet current market demands, with courses focusing on artificial intelligence, data handling, and digital marketing strategies. Sessions kick off on January 28th with Computational Thinking for Educators, followed by a series of opportunities in February for participants to develop in-demand digital skills.

Data Handling & Manipulation – Learn the fundamentals of data management, visualisation techniques, and GDPR compliance. Develop insights to make data-driven decisions.
Fundamentals of Digital Marketing – Master social media strategy, content creation, and analytics interpretation to build effective marketing campaigns.
AI in the Modern World – Explore artificial intelligence, machine learning, and responsible AI practices. Gain insights into AI’s role in modern industries.
Increase Productivity: Digital Collaboration & Project Management – Learn to streamline project management, improve digital communication, and leverage Microsoft tools for efficient teamwork.

Based at Tramshed Tech Swansea in the historic Palace Theatre building, the programme is open to local residents and workers aged 19+ who are not in full-time education. Participants can enrol in multiple courses to build a comprehensive digital skill set tailored to their career goals.
